The first thing to do is to apply for a driving license permission from Transportstyrelsen. You can do that at körkortsportalen. There are two options;
1. Apply directly on the web (fill in the health declaration on the webpage) and pay the fee directly on the web. The last thing is to do an eye exam, you should recive a certificate witch you send in to the Transportstyrelsen as soon as possible (inform that it is for a driving license permission).
2. Fill in your personal information and let the Transportstyrelsen send everything over to your address. When it arrives just read and do what it says. When all is done, pay the fee and send the material back to the Transportstyrelsen.
Second option takes longer time.
The "waitingtime" depends when the applification is done. During spring to autum it will take longer time.
In other words, apply on time.
